Premier package
Premier bookkeeping, $300 a month
Up to three accounts and a steady month.
Up to three connected accounts and about a hundred transactions a month. The monthly work is identical to Standard in every respect; the band simply covers more accounts and more activity.
The band this covers
- Up to three connected accounts
- Up to about a hundred transactions a month
- Regular deposits and a handful of recurring vendors
- Owners who want to see the year as it happens rather than in March
What arrives each month
This is the same at every price. Premier is a volume band, not a different service, so the list below is what a client on any of the four packages receives.
- Every transaction categorized each month
- Each connected account reconciled to its statement
- A profit and loss statement and a balance sheet, monthly and year to date
- A short list of anything we could not identify, sent to you rather than guessed at
- A plain summary of anything worth your attention
- Statements filed in your client portal, so prior months are always there
- Books closed each month once you have answered the open questions
What this does not include
- Catch-up or cleanup of periods before the engagement begins. We assess your books at the start and quote any cleanup separately.
- Tax return preparation of any kind, which we offer as a separate service
- Payroll processing and payroll tax filings. Our office does not run payroll.
- Sales and use tax filings
- Invoicing your customers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bill payment
- Budgeting, forecasting, and advisory services
- Forms 1099
- Beneficial ownership information filings with FinCEN
- Audit, review, or compilation work. We are not a CPA firm and provide no assurance on the reports we deliver.
How signing up works
- You create your portal accountName, email, and a password. It takes a minute and you do it yourself, without waiting for us to set anything up.
- Your agreement and price arriveIt lists the package you chose and the monthly price, with the full terms attached. Read it before you agree to anything.
- You sign and authorize the monthly paymentSigning it is what starts the service and sets up the monthly payment, exactly as the terms describe.
- You give us access to your booksYou invite us into your QuickBooks Online account as a user from within QuickBooks. We never ask for your QuickBooks password, and you can remove our access yourself at any time.
- We agree your first month and startA short onboarding call confirms which accounts are in scope and which month we close first. After that the cycle runs monthly.
Conditions that apply
Every bookkeeping package requires an active QuickBooks Online subscription in your business name. You hold that subscription and pay Intuit directly for it. It is not included in the package prices, and we do not resell it. You give us access by inviting us as a user from inside QuickBooks, so we never hold your password and you can remove our access yourself at any time.
Volume is not the only thing that sets a price. Books that carry more work per transaction, or that need technical treatment a transaction count cannot show, are adjusted by hand after a consultation rather than taken from the table. We confirm your exact price before any work begins, and we do not change it without telling you first.
Bookkeeping runs entirely online if you prefer, or in person at our office on West Main Street in Locust. The monthly cycle and what you receive are identical either way.
Bookkeeping runs month to month. Either of us can end it with thirty days' written notice, and prices can change on the same notice if your volume or scope does. The full terms are published, and you can read them before you commit.
We take bookkeeping clients across the United States, online or in person. Our monthly reports are prepared for your internal management use only. We do not audit, review, compile, or verify your records, and no assurance of any kind is provided on the reports we deliver. We are not a CPA firm.
