Your information stays private

Protecting your information is part of doing this work properly. Here is how we handle it, in plain language.

Documents are handled in encrypted, professional software

When you send us tax documents, they are uploaded to your private client portal in our professional tax software, where they are encrypted in transit and at rest. We never ask you to send tax documents or your Social Security number by email or text message, because those are not secure.

This website stores none of your tax information

The website you are reading does not collect, store, or transmit Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or tax documents. All sensitive information is exchanged inside your secure client portal, not on this site.

Payments are processed securely

Invoices are paid through Square, an established payment processor. Your card details are entered on Square’s secure checkout and are never handled or stored by our website, which keeps your card information out of our systems entirely.

What we ask of you

  • Use the secure portal for anything that contains personal or financial details.
  • Keep your portal password private, and choose one you do not use elsewhere.
  • If anything about a message or request seems off, call the office to confirm before acting.

A written plan, kept current

As a tax firm, we maintain a written information security plan covering how client data is collected, stored, and disposed of, consistent with applicable federal and state requirements. If you have a question about how your information is handled, we are glad to answer it.
